Umbrella Tent – 5m diameter – Linen

A historical tent with a structure based on a main pole and a wheel with spokes spanning the roof. Such tents were commonly used in the Middle Ages, by knights and traveling armies. The height of the tent is 3.7 meters, so the main pole is divided into two sections. The length of the longest piece in transport is 2.1 meters. The diameter of the tent measured at the ground is 5 meters.

As standard, it is made of thick linen fabric with a weight of 540 gr/m2. A good quality linen fabric will not get wet even in a long rain, optionally, it can be made of linen impregnated with anti-mildew and water repellent.

We use hardwoods like ash, beech, birch, etc. for the frame.

The set includes:

– tent sheet – roof and walls in two parts,

– wood frame,

– A set of wooden tent pegs,

– set of ropes,

– decorative roof finial,

– carry bags.

Optional:

– steel herrings – hand-forged,

– A set of ropes and storm pegs to further protect the tent from the wind.
