Standard version is made of thick linen fabric of denisty: 540g/m2. As this is natural fabric, plain linen will absorb water, it can have leaks on seams or during long and heavy rain. Good quality impregnated linen fabric will not soak through even after long rain. There is an option of impregnated linen which is hydrophobic and rot-resistant. Wooden frame of the norman tent is made of hardwood like ash, birch etc.
We do not guarantee watertightness for plain linen and seams. In case of leaks on seams we advise using wax or modern liquid impregnats.
The crossbar is split into two parts for convenient transport, the longest element is 1,7 m.
Per request we also can custom paint our medieval tents.
The footer of the store has a card of available colors. We can paint the knights pavilion in historical motifs. Examples of such projects can be found on our Blog.
The traveling knight needed a lot of equipment to live comfortably, that’s why the Norman tent was richly equipped with furniture and transport boxes.
