Gambeson – Axeman

Gambeson Axeman is combat garment worn under armor or without additional protection.

The quilted gambeson presented here is designed for heavier combat.

Slightly thicker than other models, it is suitable for bohurt combat. The filling thickness can be adjusted upon request.

The gambeson is made of three types of materials: linen, two layers of wool wadding, linen lining.

This gambeson was developed based on iconography and practical combat experience.

Gambesons in a similar style are most often found in paintings from throughout the Middle Ages.

The special cut ensures optimal freedom of movement in relation to its protective function.

The quilted jacket does not pull upwards even when the arms are fully raised.

The high collar provides neck protection, while the cut is slightly fitted at the waist, ensuring a snug fit.

The gambeson comes standard with leather patches for attaching armor components.

It fastens with a row of buttons as standard.

The fastening method can be customized to suit individual preferences.
