It is a bit convex, rounded at the end, but it protects very well the face of knight. The ventlais can be on one or both their sides. The helmet was usually used by knights on horseback.
Klappenvisier helmet has a little rounded bowl with holes, which can be used for sewing to padded hood. The visor attached by a brow-mounted pivot has the ventails on its both sides. On the right side the helmet has a blocade, so you can feel more safety during battle. The sights are conves, little bowing with holes in theirs lower part, which give an additional view.
