Early type armet. Dated  1406-1415, depending on the source.
Made of 2mm thick hardened steel. Padded inlay included. Fully combat ready.

Product made by one of the best Polish Armourers. Hence, the deadlines for completing the order are quite distant. The waiting time is about half a year.

Head’s protection is one of the bigger problems on the battlefield. The helmet must stop an opponent’s weapon, provide good view and breath. The armourers tried to make the best helm through the centuries. The infrantry could use non-covered face helm, but the knights did not. That is the reason, why firstly was used great helm, later bascinet with moving visor. At the beginning of XV century it was invented a new type of helmet- armet.

This helmet has a few well to fit pieces, which provide comfortable wearing and safety during combat. The visor gives very good visibility and maximum protectoin of eyes. What is more it is still very aesthetic helmet.

The knight used this type of helmet almost two centuries on tournaments and battlefields. Armet was used mostly in Western Europe countries, it is recorded in sources from Germany to Spain.
