Medieval pants – Type 1

170.00 300.00

Pants tied to the doublet with strings, made of wool cut from the bias so that they better support the leg. The leg is sewn from a single piece of fabric and finished with a stirrup or full foot. Pants often had a lining, important for hygienic reasons, as well as to reinforce their structure – particularly stressed by ligaments. However, the lined pants do not exactly support the leg.
