Woolen Anorak – Mountaineer – Modern

Woolen anorak designed for traditional bushcraft.
This design is based on anoraks used by military mountain troops before and during world war two.

In our offer you will find also anoraks based on american jackets.

For this modern gebirgsjager anorak we added two extra pockets on the back.

You will find also zippers that allow you to open side of anorak and allowfree access to stuff under jacket.

So this model is even more comfotrable in use.

Regulation on cuffs in original ones was also made with metal clasps, not with buttons, this was idea from another historical jacket.

Notice a big, extensive and comfortable hood as a protection from wind or rain.

Original models were made rather in duck cotton then woolen cloth. However wool is far better in use and wormer.

It gives better protecion against cold.

As we follow zero waste concept for this woolen anorak we used only 100% biodegradable materials like woolen fabric and wooden buttons.

On our shop you will also find anorak in traditional version with buttons only.

The other style we marked as – Modern, becuse it is not made full in historical correct way.

In standard anorak presented here is made in woolen fabric that is 540gr/m2 heavy.

Fabric we use was impregnated against water so anorak is waterproof.

We can also use 100% Loden wool, heavier and waterproof in natural way.
