Thorsbjerg trousers are our interpretation of a piece of clothing from the finds, this time from the Thorsbjerg swamp (Denmark).

The object found there was almost complete, but dated even earlier than the Viking era.

However, their construction is consistent with other later finds, which were not so well preserved.

In our offer Thorsbjerg trousers are made of woolen fabric as standard.

Findings in Thorsberg

Between 1851 and 1861, a large number of objects were discovered in a small area in Denmark known as Thorsbjerg Mose.

Nowadays it is a German area.

Many of the objects found there were intentionally destroyed in the period as battle votes. They were probably found in a swamp between the second and fifth centuries AD. Most of them date back to the third century. Weapons, tools, baskets, ceramics, recreational items and textiles were found. Between them there were two pairs of trousers, one of which was practically complete. Only 30cm of the right leg is missing.
