Skjoldehamn Hood – Woollen

Skjoldehamn hood based on findings from Norway. According to research it was made in 10th century. Discovered in 1936 in bog with all Viking outfit. Original was sewn in dark brown wool.

Hoods are an indispensable pieces of clothing for every re-enactor of the early Middle Ages.

This Skjoldehamn hood, like any of the costumes we offer, is available in standard or individual sizes. Like all our clothes, we can make it by machine or by hand for most demanding re-enactors.

We can modify it very widely, decorate them with tablet woven trims or contrasting stripes of fabric.
