A square pavilion with a roof supported by a central mast and two-metre long side stakes. Tents of this type have been in use since the 17th century. There is no evidence of medieval usage of such tents. Similar designs were used in later periods – 17, 18 and later on. The tent is 4m wide and 4m long and 3.3m high, with walls 2 m high. Walls are perpendicular to the ground makeing this design more spacious than Basel type tent.
