Lanolin

Lanolin, a substance that is part of the sheep’s secretions that provides moisture and water resistance to sheep’s fleece. It was collected during the springtime animal bathing before shearing. Used in medicine / pharmacy and cosmetics since at least antiquity. It is still part of most preparations – ointments, creams, emulsions used for oiling and conditioning the skin, and even liquids for delicate fabrics made of natural fibers

Leather objects in contact with air dry up, deform and are exposed to mold. Therefore lanolin was used not only protects all types of leather but also wool, linen or wood. This included various items such as shoes, coats and even tents.

This price refers to 0,5kg of lanolin.
