A historical tent, popularly known as Norman or Saxon in double version. De facto it consists of two tents of this type in 3m x 6m combined with a tent shed. Thanks to this design it gains two independent bedrooms and a common place, e.g. a kitchen. Tents of this type were commonly used by knights and soldiers starting from the early Middle Ages.
The tent is 3m wide, 12m long and 2.3m high, it can comfortably accommodate a larger number of people.
Standard version is made of thick linen fabric of denisty: 540g/m2. Good quality linen fabric will not soak through even in preolonged, heavy rain. There is also an option to use impregnated linen which is highly hydrophobic and rot resistant. Main masts are made of pine and the crossbar is made of hardwood, like ash or beech.
The frame is made of strong wood like ash, beech or the like. The piles are divided for easier transport, the longest element is 2.2m long.
The set includes:
– a tent canvas – in three pieces,
– wooden poles,
– a set of wooden tent pegs,
– decorative tops of the roof,
– transport bags.
– steel pegs – hand forged,
– a set of storm ropes and pegs that will additionally protect the tent from the wind.
