Cotton canvas for tents is 360gr / m2 heavy and has a width of about 150cm.
It works great as fabric for historical tents, sheds and tarps.

The fabric is rot resistant and waterproof thx to impregnation made in factory. We do not do it on our own. Therefore, it will last a long time if used properly.

Cotton was bring to Europy by Arabs in medieval times, then it was cultivated in Italy. In XVIII century the development of cotton production in England and America had influence on its lower price and greater availability. Today impregnated cotton canvas is using to sewing early – modern period tents and from the earlier ages. They are light and inexpensive and they provde hught comfort of using.
