Excellent quality klappenvisier. Made from 2mm hardened steel, suitable for hard combat. Main Part is welded from two pieces, however we can provide one made using medieval technology. Visor is forged from one piece of steel.
Product made by one of the best Polish armourers.  Ba aware that the complex and scrupulous process of production takes time. However it has a direct result in high quality. It takes about six months for our armourer to complete an order.

Klappenvisier was a helmet used since half of 14th century to mid 15th century. It has a skull with the visor. Visor is usually attached by a brow-mounted pivot. It is a bit convex, rounded at the end, but it protects very well the face of knight. The ventlais can be on one or both their sides. The helmet was usually used by knights on horseback.

This helmet has a rounded bowl, what is rather typical for german bascinet. It has a holes, which make possibilty to connect it with padded hood and sleeves to add the aventail to have better protection of throat and neck. The visor has symmetrical breath. In addition, under the long, wide sight it was the holes, which give better view. The klappenvisier has a visor opened blocade on it’s right side. What is more, he blocade of visor, which is on top of the helmet, let remove it, if it is not necessary.

The klappenvisier is a perfect knightly helmet for the knight from end of 14th and beginning of 15th century.
