Arming Doublet – Type 3

Reconstruction of a military doublet from the 15th century. Itcan serve as  armor underlining and as such it has holes for attaching armor pieces. It was designed based on historical sources so that it is practical in combat. The filling layers have been arranged to ensure high mobility of the user without saraficing protection in crucial places.

• It weighs about 2 kg.
  
• It has five pairs of holes at the front. Per request we can sew bronze buckles instead.The doublet is made of three layers:

• Outer – wool,
• Filling – cotton,
• Lining – linen.Like all our clothing it can be hand or machine stiched. However, we always follow the principle to finish visible elements manually.

  Attention! The model in the photo is sewn by hand and has several additional holes that are not present in the standard version.
