Woman`s Gown – 15th century

15th century gown, designed to be worn over a shift. The neck is cut fairly low. In the standard version the sleeves are short. The sleeves can also be long and close fitting or fastened with pins. The garment is laced at the front for close fit and the dress is cut at the waist to get the right cut, so the bottom can be sewn from a circle. The standard version is made of wool and lined with linen. Please ask for other fabrics prior to ordering, especially when it comes to brocade for sleeves.
